his is for dogs that have never taken any agility courses. Open to all dogs that have had basic obedience and are at least 6 months old. Dogs will be exposed to all obstacles, contacts at lower heights, including introduction to weave poles; introduction to basic handler queues (front crosses and rear crosses). Handlers/dogs will run small obstacle sequences (4-5 obstacles) with the dog off leash. Learning the basics to get the dog exposed to all the equipment. 1. Walking across boards/planks 2. Walking over PVC ladders 3. Dog performs figure eights around handlers’ legs. 4. Basic sits and stays, in preparation for start lines and table work. 5. Basic tunnel work 6. Low jumps 7. Baby dog walk 8. Baby A-Frame/dog walk combo 9. Baby teeter 10. Table 11. Low tire 12. Weave pole introduction and entrances 13. Dog should learn to come to handler’s side when called, while working off leash 14. Keep the dog motivated and focused on the job at hand. 15.
